I have always been interested in health and fitness and whilst living in Sydney in my early twenties I qualified as a Naturopath from the Australasian College of Natural Therapies. From here I worked for a further 3 years in a Wellbeing industry in the city, before heading back to they UK and working in Wholefoods, Bristol as their in-house Naturopath, I managed Avalon Wellbeing Centre at Broughton Hall, Yorkshire whilst also being self employed and building my own private clients. For the past 5 years I have just worked for myself and focused on my private Pilates studio and Virtual Harriet. 


A Naturopath is a health practitioner who applies natural healing therapies such as Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Massage, Exercise, Aromatherapy plus more to help client’s reach their health goals and potential. At a time when modern technology, environmental pollution, poor diet, stress, mental health issues, Covid 19 all playing a significant role in the degeneration of health a Naturopath’s ability to apply a variety of natural methods of healing is, I think of considerable importance.


I have a section on Virtual Harriet called Naturopathic Pilates where I use movement, breathing and meditation to help with various health conditions like anxiety, headaches, digestive issues etc. I have found that over the years movement can have a profound positive effect on our health and some problems that we struggle with on a daily basis.
