Bedrooms

There are eight bedrooms available, all are ensuite. These are available as single, double or triple occupancy. Each room comes with its own heating system, they are all spacious, light, and cheery. Please note there is only one triple room available, so book now to avoid disappointment!

If you are choosing one of the Day Retreats, please arrive at 09.30 ready for your first workout at 09.45. You are welcome to stay until 18.30 after the last workshop.

Free Time

Although the days will be busy there will be free time and obviously you can opt out of any of the workshops/classes and enjoy the following;

 

  • Explore the countryside in a group or on a guided walk

  • Book a massage with Harriet (any day)

  • Book a physio appointment with Louise (Tue/Wed)

  • Book a reflexology appointment (Thur)

  • Cosy up in the Cinema room

  • Take a dip in the pool, hot tub or turn up the heat in the sauna

  • Chat to like-minded people with hot cocoa on the sun loungers (coats and scarves!)

  • Create your own Bach Flower Remedy

  • Use the Pilates equipment for your own stretches, workouts

  • Pop into Ilminster, a charming little Somerset market town with independent shops and a weekly market

  • Plus there is plenty of fun to be had in the Games Room – pool table, air hockey, table football and table tennis!

Tuesday 24th September

NOURISH THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

The focus of today’s retreat is to take some time out of our busy lives to connect to your nervous system, learn how to move with pain and injury and explore exercises that support the nervous system. Louise brings a wealth of knowledge and fun with her, full of physio support and she is looking forward to answering your questions at the end of her workshop. 

Henny will plan the lunch with Carlie using seasonal ingredients and then explain about Ayurvedic Medicine with solutions to optimise daily routines and enhance your wellbeing with Ayurveda. Her workshop will be focussed on sharing health tips and tricks to support both our minds and bodies and again she will leave time to answer your questions. Henny will wrap up the day with some Yoga Nidra to create a safe space to allow your mind and body to fully relax, embrace all your new learnings and aim to take your parasympathetic nervous system to its calmest state. All workshops are optional.

Thursday 26th September

BOOST YOUR MIND & BODY

Boost simply means to improve something and improve means to develop or increase in mental capacity by education and experience – tick! The workouts will be mentally and physically challenging, which always raises your vibration, some moves to challenge coordination and flexibility! The Mood Boards aim to help you find some answers, spend time manifesting what ever you need to manifest whilst creating ideas with others. Maybe we focus on putting a fitness plan together, find a way to make some changes to your health plan, create a health plan? Lucinda will then enlighten us with all her incredible nutrition knowledge for the brain and launch her new book, Brain Brilliance. There will be an opportunity to buy her book and hopefully she will have time for some signing! The aim is for Lucinda to also have time for some Q/A. Harriet will end the day with some flex band fun!

Wednesday 25th September

FIND YOUR INNER STRENGTH/JOY

​

Today is a great day! I hear many clients and friends say that they have lost their confidence, lost their inner joy and lost their ‘mojo’ – well today is your day. The aim is to leave you feeling strong, capable to achieve your dreams and find of your inner joy. The morning workout will push you (if you choose!), the Breath Work will connect you and the Sound Healing will journey you to a beautiful place, I hope! Melinda will share her wisdom, again, this time the importance of correct breathing, different breathing techniques plus guide us through a breathing workout. I will do a short talk about the importance of the Vagus Nerve with some stretchy seated movements before the Sound Healing as this really complements Jess's therapy. Jess from Luna Flow will end the day, she is looking forward to sharing her crystal bowls with you...some of the benefits are better sleep, enhancing focus plus stress and pain management.
